John Calvin made the faith sane??? The man was a bundle of neuroses! Witch burnings, plots and poisonings a theocratic dictatorship much worse than Catholicism! The Calvinists not content to burn witches and persecute other Christians such as the Anabaptist's in Geneva and the Netherlands then came over to Massachusetts and started the whole hysteria again in Salem..
neither one of these groups is what you want. You want a church that is going to go ALL the way back to the original Christian faith and its simple doctrine and practice, summed up in the very first message ever preached the day the church was born. Act's of the Apostles 2:38 the message of salvation the REAL Christians preached every where they went. 1.) Repent 2.) be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and 3.) you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. You are undoubtedly surrounded by churches preaching this message, even though that causes them to be labeled as a cult by the tares Jesus warned us about. They are usually called Apostolic or Apostolic Pentecostal churches and nothing else even begins to compare.

Well let me put it this way, I respect my Catholic freinds, but I'am concerned about them cause I'am not sure they know clearly what the Gospel is. In a nutshell Catholicism has deviated so much from New Testament Christianity, it's a surprise that's it's considered Christian at all. The Word of God is unchanging, but the beliefs of Catholicism have continually changed and evolved over time. The word tradition continually pops up in Catholicism and yet look at what Christ said about this same subject. It's not really a case of who's wrong and who's right. It's more of a case of who' s obedient or disobedient to the Word of God. Who is faithfull to it or who nulllifies it. If the bible says something about something specific and the Pope says something else that contradicts it. Who are you going to believe? If you know your bible you'll realize that Catholicism contradicts it in a million differernt ways. Blessings

The be conscious Christian means Follower of Christ. with the intention to be a Follower of Christ, you will desire to correctly known him through fact the top of the Church considering that's what's taught in the Bible. The Catholic Church claims that the Pope is the top of the Church. as a result via definition, Catholics can't be considered Christians. the main appropriate designations for Catholics is Paptist meaning Follower of the Pope. additionally, the Catholic Church claims that their faith is going all the way beck to the unique team of believers and that Peter replaced into the 1st Pope. whether, the assumption of one guy or woman being Head of the full Church did no longer come into life till 4 hundred years after Peter died. as a result, he would desire to no longer have been the 1st Pope. In precis, Catholics are no longer Christians. they are employing the call of Jesus as a advertising gadget to sell their very own faith.

The Catholic Church is the ONLY Christain Church that dates back to Christ. In fact, we believe that Christ Himself founded our Church. Protestants came along in 1517 by Martin Luther.
Note, the Bible thing the other guys told you to do doesn't work. MartinLuther took out six of the Catholic Church's Bible and kept the rest that were translated by the pope himself.

The only "right" religion is the one that's right for you. In my case, that's Catholicism. I prefer the stability and order of the Mass, and I love the Eucharist. My best friend is Assemblies of God, and she needs the freedom of their worship service. Communion once a month meets her needs perfectly.
Neither one of us is right or wrong -- just different in the way that we're comfortable in worshipping God.

Asking who got it "most right" misses the point. All of us, whether Catholic, Calvinist, Reform, Lutheran, Methodist, Evangelical Free, etc., are trying to follow Christ. Ultimately it's His determination who got it "most right" but does it really matter?

I have a proposition. Get a Protestant and a Catholic. Then have them exchange Bibles. Whoever can prove the most doctrines from the other's Bible wins.

They have insane people on both sides.
Personally I would choose Catholic because at least they aren't afraid to teach Evolution in their schools.
P.S. I am atheist so in ideal circumstances I would not be religious. And technically neither are right because a personal god doesn't likely exist.
