I'm sure if you're meaning the cut or the actual styling of your hair. But if it's the cut usually about 4 weeks depending on your personal hair growth. If you're meaning the style, then taking a shower wont ruin it unless you get the hair itself wet. It should last about 2-3 days.

You should get your hair trimmed every couple months. When you get in the shower it will go BLAH. But if you watched your hairstylest when she was doing your hair you should know how to blow dry it to make it look like you just got it cut
