whether there is a god or not, it's all the same? if there is not a god and you ask a prayer, it obviously won't be answered. if there is a god and you ask a prayer, it won't be answered or it will be imperfectly answered. so what's the point?

good day.

All prayers are answered one way or another

Even Garth Brooks knows that..........................

I'd say no. God does answer prayer but in a manner that is best for the individual. Would you give you 5 year old a car because he asked for it or would you wait until he was old enough to drive and be responsible? Sometimes we are not ready for the answers. Sometimes the answers are different than we imagine them to be, but in the end we find out they are better than what we hoped for.

All of my prayers are perfectly answered...

Maybe I'm doing something different than you? Have you even actually prayed? How about, Have you ever prayed without sarcasm in your heart? Maybe your prayer was answered, just not in the way you expected? And who are you to say that the way YOU expect to be answered is the perfect way?

I find your "scenario" or generalization, to be comply untrue, and unvalidated... who says it won't be answered? And plenty of people's prayers have been answered by God, "perfectly" or even better. Just because we don't always get what we ask for doesn't imply never, nor that there wasn't a good reason.

Good day.

I try to believe in God, but when the prayers I need the most are not answered, how can I?

Close but you could get closer.

If there is not god and you ask a prayer that which you ask for will either happen or not happen due to chance.

If there is a god and you ask a prayer that which you ask for will either happen or not happen due to god's will.

The percentage of prayers that happen due to chance equals the percentage that happen due to god's will.

In fact you could expand this to include having a desire but not praying. Again, the chance of it happening due to chance equal the chance due to god's will.

As you say, what's the point?

My prayers have been answered, perfectly.

God doesn't anwer prayers from peopl e who don't believe in him and he won't give you stuff just because you want it.

Start considering what you should really be praying for.

To me prayer is meditation. I just talk to Him. I do not believe that He gets involved with us here. I have to hold on to that because if He did children would not be raped and murdered.

Poor logic there. Unless the premise is true then you can't rely on the conclusion you reached.
