There's a Jehovah's Witness couple up here in Vancouver who used fertility drugs, had sextuplets, allowed two of the babies to die because they wouldn't authorize blood transfusions, had three taken away by the government so the transfusions could be done, then whined when they got the babies back that their right to freedom of religion had been violated. And they wonder why I scream when they come to the door.

Or why do we detest untruthful people who lie to us, yet we lie to others whenever we need to? It has less to do with what we believe as it is who we are: Human. Hypocritical, selfish, greedy liars. the sum total of all humanity. But the first step in changing that is admitting it; which is where the 'christian' part comes in. Unbelievers follow their own personal morality which changes like shifting shadows, so their lies aren't lies when they don't want them to be. A believer has a Spirit that they will have to give account to for every absolute truth they deny and defy.

God is not against medicine/doctors. And if God doesn't allow it, the medicine/doctors won't make a difference. He will allow things that are not necessarily His perfect will for someone though.

Did you ever hear the one about the man who sat on the roof of his house during the flood? A boat came by but he denied to go because he said "God will save me..." Another boat came by as the water rose but he denied it saying "...God will save me...". Finally a heliocopter flew near but again he denied saying "God will save me." The man died and upon seeing God he said I thought you would save me, God replied "I sent a heliocopter and two boats, what else did you want? God gives us resources like fertility treatments, stop trying to outsmart yourself.
