Most men don't wear any type of jewerly at all. It's just not a thing guys do. So a ring is a type of jewerly, so men don't wear it.
Also back in the good old days the right was the sign of ownership. So if you saw a ringed woman you knew she was owned by another man and you should stay away.

Because girls are the ones who talk about marriage so much... so much that they want to show off the fact that they're engaged. Guys usually don't talk about it as much as girls do. Girls are the ones who dream about the big weddings and blah blah blah. That's why the girls are the ones who wear engagement rings. And besides, diamonds aren't a guy's best friend.
You know what's funny? I don't give a crap about diamonds and big weddings. I'm the type to save money for a house instead. I guess that's one of the reasons why people say my boyfriend is so lucky. :P

My nephew is marrying a lady from Brazil. They exchanged plain gold bands and they wear them on their right hand until they get married, then they will change them to the left. Nice custom. Godloveya.
