If that were to happen, I might believe something. I will never believe the bible is the word of God. Sorry, it just doesn't make sense to me.
Edit: Yup. That's right, I still wouldn't believe the bible is the truth. I would think someone/thing used the popularity of the bible. Some people said aliens, I would be more inclined to believe that. Physics does make sense to me. I understand the bible I just won't believe that God chooses Middle Eastern misogynists from 6000 years ago as "the chosen people" Or that God sends messages in an old book. the list goes on and on. But you know what? I think it's ok if you believe, I do not think ill of you for it. That is: I won't think ill of you until you start threatening people with eternal damnation. You directed the question to people like me, so I answered.

Sure. . why not. . . that would actually be evidence wouldn't it?
After you rule out aliens of course. .lol
- in response to your comment.
There is more evidence that aliens exist than there is that a god exists. Even if you want to create a god to compensate for the things you don't understand. The christian god is more unlikely then the other gods of our time.
If i'm going to go along with your question i'm going to be truthful. Just because a bunch of people dissappear all of a sudden and i can't understand it, i am not going to automatically attribute it to a god. I'd have to first eliminate rationale explanations (aliens, natural phenomena, etc..) first. If that doesn't make sense to you, then I guess I can understand that since you are a "believer"

The big if question. Using if you can make anything up. I will humor you. I would laugh, and say wow guess there is a god really is a an the evil creature I read about in the bible. Then again I don't know if I could ever call that creature a god.

Well given that it is written in your bible that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 15:50
Or
In a moment in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP . . . 1 Corinthians 15:52
Or
Him whose coming is AFTER the working of Satan . . . . 2 Thessalonians 2:9
I'd say your any moment crap or you're going to vanish crap is nothing but stupid crap from people that don't even know their own bible! PEOPLE LIKE YOU!
But please vanish It would make us VERY HAPPY!

I believe on physical evidence. Religion offers none. "Faith" is a scam.
If you could provide verifiable physical evidence for the existence of ANY deity, much less Christianity, then of course I would take it.
That's the beauty of scientific understanding. Your world view grows with evidence, not the other way around.
But there is no evidence of god. Only of hate-spewing religionists who threaten us with concepts like hell and the rapture, and have nothing to back their views.

Yes it is true and it is going to happen! All those rejectors and non- believers will be left behind! If you say no... then bye bye and suite yourself. If you want to become a Christian:
ere is how you can receive Christ:
1. Admit your need (I am a sinner.)
2. Change your attitude that you can save yourself. Change your attitude to the fact that only Christ can save you by what He did on the cross (Repent...means a change of mind or attitude)
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and rose from the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior)

Um, yeah; if that were to happen, of course I would believe... but that hasn't happened, has it? All that's happened is that some guys wrote a book about some things that may or may not have happened. I don't believe that wizards exist just because J.K. Rowling writes about them, and I don't believe in a god just because some men a few centuries ago wrote about him.

Yes, I would believe, because I am a Christian. But those who are left behind would not believe. - Beam Me Up! -
"For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God,
and the dead in Christ will rise first"
(1st Thessalonians 4:16 NASB)
The Bibles tells their story. (see the movie "Left Behind," You can not force anyone to believe, even if they see the Rapture with their own eyes.. Many people see UFOs or what they believe to be UFO and still do not believe those who say they have.

No, I don't think I could. My lack of faith is not due to the fact that I can't see God, but that if what I do see, the pain and death that happens every day, is God, then that is not something I want to believe in.
