I agree -- what is there to think? She's obviously old enough to buy alcohol legally. If she drinks too much, her friends and family need to help her.
(-: Although, I will say that fruity drinks have a particularly silly reputation, no matter who is drinking them. And I used to drink hard liquor when I was younger to give myself a "tough" reputation -- although that probably wasn't the wisest decision I ever made. Beer drinkers strike me as down-to-earth, and wine-drinkers can either be slightly more elegant -- but also slightly more pretentious. It just depends.
These impressions go for men and women, of any legal age.

as long as the woman in her 30s drinks responsibly it is perfectly fine with me. I don't really care what she drinks. as a 31 year old, I am least likely to order a fruity drink. Probably 90% of the time order wine because I work in the wine industry. Remaining ten percent is probably half and half beer and mixed cocktail.
I am usually designated driver and wine and beer have the least amount of alcohol.

Huh? They're no different from women in their teens, 20's, 40's, 50's, 60's 70's, 80's and 90's who drink beer, wine, liquor and fruity drinks. :l

Beer is for men and its disgusting wine is ok hard liquor is the best and fruity drinks are no harm to you

I would say the most popular 30 year old chick drink would be Cosmo, Manhatten and Apple Martini's
Now if they are 30 and still single then it would be Liquid Cocaines, Lemon drops, and Sufers on Acid.

IMO : As long as they understand the responsibilities of drinking alcohol and know when your limits are. There is nothing wrong with having a drink with a meal or to be social with others.
