it is a BIG privilege to avail of the Good News in a country like the US, where freedom is a right. it is an even BIGGER privilege that the Holy Spirit aided that person to understand what God is trying to reveal. unfortunately, as you can see, a lot of people choose to ignore that special condition they're in.
Everyone knows about God, most people just knowingly reject Him. Read v.20 carefully.
Romans 1:18-20
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
God judges omnisciently.

No they would not be excluded from heaven. If the word of God has not been taught to them or they have never heard of him they will still go to heaven. They will not be held accountable. Just think of the natives that lived here...they didn't know about Christ until white man brought the teachings to them.

I think people who have not heard of Jesus before they died are not automatically thrown into hell and excluded from Heaven. If you think about it, all the Jews who lived faithfully and worshipping God did not hear of Jesus, so should they all go to hell? Of course not. I think it only applies if you heard of Jesus and you deliberately ignore him. If you've never heard of him, and you know God, you might have a free ticket to Heaven there.

I don't think that's fair at all, that someone should be punished for something they never heard of, what do you think about it, if that is true? I doubt that they will be excluded though. But then again, I don't believe most people would be locked out......

No not at all, God is God and only searches a persons heart, He knows who will accept Him and who won't. There is no "unfairness" in God, that is against His very nature and He tells us so in the Holy Bible. Not a sparrow drops without Him knowing, and He says he knew each and every one of us before we were even formed.
