I got cover up tattoo on Saturday and yesterday it got real furry looking from all the little bits of skin sticking up. Resist the urge to pick at the skin. Keep applying whatever product your tattoo artist recommended. It will take a few days and a few showers before all the dead skin peels off. ( I would say four or five days from tattoo date until it starts peeling.) Your tattoo won't be completely healed (with a new outer layer of skin grown) for 6 to 8 weeks.

good luck with the tattoo.

Maybe by this weekend....I also have a half sleeve and it took about 5 days I think for it to start peeling. I think it takes an average of two weeks to heal. Keep your arm out of the sun, ocean, and swimming pools.

Take care of this tattoo properly and it should heal in 10 days .I used Tattoo Goo I do not know if they still sell this or not. This product really did speed up the process by three days. Stay out of the sun and pat it dry and try not to move the area around too much. This may cause scarring.
Great Luck!

Depending on how big it is it could from a week to two. But buy what is called "Tat Wax" place it on the tattoo and keep it covered with saran wrap. Sounds weird, but will help it heal faster

If the tattoo artist who did the work on you didn't provide you with that information, there's a 70% chance that you were tattooed by a wandering gypsy or a drunken monkey. If your arm starts to turn green and wither, it's called gangrene. Call 911.

everyone reacts differently. Do yourself a favor though and give it 30 days before you evaulate how it looks. I swear it will drive you crazy cause it does all kinds of stuff sometimes.

it's not supposed to peel or scab
you're supposed to keep bacitracin ointment on it and uncovered after the first day.... if it scabs and peels, the color comes off with it
