If I could pick one thing to be removed from the minds of humanity Pascal's Wager might make the top 10. But then again what else in life gives a person an excuse to get drunk at 6am?
Atheists wager is a much better bet than Pascals wager.

I've always thought it was funny that the atheists wager makes sense, but Pascal's wager insults Christians, atheists, and the Christian God all at once.
You should check out some of the questions I asked last night. Their answers would tell you why they don't believe in the logic of Atheist's wager.

ok. . even as an atheist i have to say this doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Maybe it should be more like "hedging your bets"
A believer should theoretically pray to every god, study every religion, and perform every act of salvation offered "just in case" they picked the wrong god.
That wager makes more sense from a "safe bet" standpoint. Which is what Pascal's wager is stating

Your question puzzles me. I think you're trying to type an atheist version of Pascals Wager.
Wouldnt the answer to this be if there are no gods then that's it. There won't be anyone to respect your courage after you're dead.
In order for me to even consider your God, you have to tell me his name and what he's done for you.
/trying to be open-minded
**Krypton, your boy didn't say that though LOL.

I think God expects you to do your research and find him. Willfull ignorance cannot possibly be a good excuse to him. The bible makes it pretty clear that God expects people to believe in him, even though he realizes that some won't.

Deep down in your heart you know there is only one God of creation. the problem is your pride, you are unwilling to yield to him and to know him. God doesnt take rejection of him lightly. He no more likes it than if your own kids rejected you as a father.

Why not believe in all of them... like buying more lottery tickets. They'll understand won't they. And if they don't exist, you've lost nothing anyway except for some intriguing logic.
