Since we all descended from monkeys, why don't you accept them as Gods?

Here's the thing, pal. Atheists do not believe in gods. Consequently, the idea that atheists would accept anything, monkeys included, as gods is pure absurdity.
You don't really get a chance to think much, do you?

You have all of your facts wrong. People AND MONKEYS had a COMMON ANCESTOR, which means people did not come from monkeys! And being Atheist means not believing in a god.
