K,
You all know about Paschals wager, k,
lets just assume that there is merit,
ok, you all seen the question asking christians what if theyre wrong cause theres potentially 2500+ other gods,
mm k,
now heres what I propose,
we as atheists need to believe in all of em, mm k, not just jesus and all that, allah and zues and thor and krishna, see what im saying,
cause what about krishna you know what im saying what if im wrong and krishna is god, or zeus or thor?!?!?!?!
so, i propose sean's wager,
what if you are wrong and im right,
if im right i believed in every single god that there could potentially be,
if your wrong you believe in some other potentially false god,
first commandment - mm i, im god im jealous f all them other gods,
now - how does sean's wager fit into that commandment,
see, i dont wanna be wrong and i wanna worship all the 2500+ pantheon of gods and godesses,
what if your wrong what have you got to lose but your soul

I don't know about all those fake-o gods,
but do you know that you are all over the 'net as the sexiest creature alive?
Yep, somebody said they're gonna make
a webpage of their dreams about your unbelievable charm; They are saying that you are the mac-daddy of love - what in the world are you doing to these women?????
Uh gods...what gods? oh those gods.
Nah, they're bullshit. We Christians are so poor that we can only afford one God. (sorry, just watched "History of the World Part 1").
The difference between the one true God and all those fakes is that He is documented both in Sacred Writings, and in secular books. Also, even though the different Books of the Bible were written hundreds, and even thousands of years apart, they all coincide perfectly with one another; this is esspecially true where numerology is concerned.
Another thing to consider is the prophecies that have already come to pass; example:
Psalm 22 was written 1000 years before the crucifiction of Christ, with no controversy over its date, and yet it tells of the event, right down to what the soldiers would be doing at the foot of the Cross.
When Christ was on the Cross and said:
"My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?" - he wasn't pleading with God because he thought God ditched him, - He never called God, "God" - he only called Him "Father" --
what Christ was doing was teaching - he was quoting from Psalms 22 to let you know that prophecy written a thousand years ago, was being fulfilled at that moment. I really thought when I started studying in the manuscripts, that I was gonna find a whole lot if inconsistancies, contradictions, even bullshit; but after 35 yrs, I'm resigned to the fact that there just aren't any. What if I'm wrong? I'm not.

I prayed for all such beings as yourself many years ago, many times I will add! I see now that you still live in confusion and darkness. This is what happens when anyone turns their back one the one true God! That first commandment still stands to this day and beyond. If a person were to take on all the false gods you would not have time to live your life, your life would be consumed by them. The God Of Abraham & Jacob frees a man with love. Can you say this for these others?
I personally hold nothing against you, you are free to belive as you will. Free will is a great gift, use it wisely!
I am a christian, but I am unlike any other you have ever met. We have been gone from this world for hundreds of years but we are back living in the ways of love. Which is the only true power!

I'm just wondering if you are like feeling okay because you are looking a little stressed out or something about now. Would you like some hot tea and little finger sandwiches? You might need the strength to worship all those gods and goddesses and minor elves and such. When you are done worshipping all of them, let us know how it went and tell us if you feel any better. By the way, when you come to me, don't worship me, it's wrong, and I don't like that.
There is only One True God and you would save yourself a lot of time, trouble, and headaches if you just go with the right one the first time.

I am not wrong. There is too much evidence not to believe. Only people who are humanistic without a solid foundation are ones who are fooling themselves. And say theorectically we are wrong. If you are a betting man as it appears you are, then you will lose in the end believing in lesser gods that other men have created. Remember Christs body was never found. Ask other religions where there proof is. No one has any proof their god exists other than Christians. So be a stupid gambler or a smart investor. You'll find out in the end whether you have made right choice. Good luck pal.

You don't express it too well, but it's a good and valid point. And I can go further: what if there is indeed a God (or many gods), who wishes to save those who believe in Him (Them) *except for* those who believe in Him (Them) because of Palcal's (Sean's) Wager? What if God is really unimpressed by people who believe in Him on prudential grounds?
The problem with Pascal's Wager - and Sean's Wager - is that it assumes knowledge about God(s) that we just don't have.

Well, if you're actually DEALING with the creator. The originator of the BIG BANG, the nuking of Soddom and Gohommrah, I'd be careful spitting on him if I were you. Might not be to healthy, especially if END OF TIMES come and you are BROUGHT BEFORE HIM (from the dead) and he decides you have the MARK OF THE BEAST and sends you into the lakes and rivers of fire to burn in all eternity.
I mean THAT DUDE has a lot of power.
Now, you really want to play with fire.
Remember, you MIGHT get burnt!
Now, I can't WARANTEE that, but IF, big IF, it does happen DON'T SAY WE DIDN'T TRY TO WARN YOU.
God dislikes WEASLES the most.
That's why he cast out Adam and Eve.

My soul is body and my Spirit is my breath of life, and I don't want to loose either. I will just continue to worship the one true God, Jehovah and all the other gods that you mentioned are the false gods and goddesses. In my bible their power proved to be powerless. You did say all gods right? Ever read about the 10 Plagues of Egypt? All the Plagues handed down by Jehovah God proved false claim on the pagan gods. Yes Jehovah is the one true God!!

Ok.... It does not fit into the commandment because "God" will punish, since he's jealous, for believing in other Gods. LOL.
