The story of my life my friend, but dont give up hope, I had everything once, i considered it everything at the time i mean, that was taken from me through what i consider to be evil itself. I quit praying to God, and my life got worse, its hard to ask God for help to get me out of my situation. I too must start the prayers again, its like i was on hold, i am in true despair with this thought also, to be without hope is worse than anything.

Well, first off you have to let go of the JW's and there false doctrine. They have taught you to feel guilty. There whole philosophy is built on guilt, working your way to salvation....and that's just not how it is. The work has been done for you, you just have to except it. Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood for you. That's all there is to it. There is no going door to door passing out watchtowers predicting the end of time. There is no going so many hours a week to the kingdom hall to listen to there bull. Remember these are all man made religions! As long as they are man made they are full of sin. Go to the Intercessors prayer site and post a prayer request there where you can get counseling and prayer 24/7. There are allot of JW's leaving that organization because like the Mormons they have there own little green Bible, and print there weekly doctrines to smother you with. Take a deep breath and thank God he chose to set you free from these people.
Ask God for forgiveness and he will comfort you, give you his peace that surpasses all understanding. Your awakening has just begun, now open your eyes, ears and your heart and thank him for your freedom.

Jesus is LORD

I used to feel like that. It was better when I thought that there was no God. However, I do know that God does not Test people or curse them. It is all up to us. Satan usually goes for the ones who have faith, so don't confuse one with the other. Material things don't matter as much as you think they do. I used to smoke pot too, but now I can't because I get panic attacks! LOL. Don't worry. Just be a good person, and put God's Kingdom first in your life and all else will be added to you.

God does not curse nor tempt people, that is the work of Satan. Read the book of Job in the Bible to see just how bad his life was and how he overcame it.

God will always provide a "way out".

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1 Corinthians 10: 13

God does not hate you. Maybe you are not trying with your heart in it. He knows when someone is doing it because they want to and when they need too. There is a difference. Ex: Someone might need $100 and prays for it. It doesnt mean they'll get it. Maybe God has a different plan to get you somewhere else where you can help someone who needs him a lot more then you do.

God's not exactly known for worldly rewards to the faithful... if you're relying on God/Jesus for your comfort and spiritual well-being, one of the key things for you to do is to find a group of people who believe similar things about God/Jesus to what you believe, and talk/worship/study with them; community's an important tool to develop your faith.

Independent study is also important - have a copy of a translation you understand of the religious text that has meaning to you - I don't care if that's the Bible, Torah, Qu'ran, or something from a non-God-of-Abraham perspective - and explore what it says to you when you read it for yourself.

Don't expect life to be easy because you have faith; many religious faiths hold that in this life there is pain and suffering as opportunities for us to grow and develop as people of faith, and to better ourselves and our relationship with the holy.

I'm a Lutheran Christian; I believe I am saved "by grace through faith" - meaning that as hard as I work, I can never do enough, but if I believe that Jesus died to atone for my sins because He and God love me enough for that sacrifice to be worthwhile, and I do honestly try to be the best that I can be, then whatever difficulties I face in this life, I'll have more than enough reward in the next.

Maybe God isn't real. Just think, if that were so, you'd be able to live your life in whatever way you chose. You wouldn't have to worry about going to hell, or pleasing God. You could just do what you thought was right.

Well you can't "work for your salvation"!

Salvation is a GIFT from God... once you receive His GIFT, you just have to maintain your FAITH in it.

Stop expecting God to provide this or that for you. Its a two way street.. God will meet us half way... you do your part.. and if its in God's WILL, you will get what you seek after.

Buddy, you need to seek God's kingdom .. not your own. Until you truly give YOURSELF to God... things aren't going to fall in place for you. They may not then either!!!

Stop expecting God to give to you if you can't give of your self. That's your problem... you buckle under pressure.

If you turn your back on God, you are no better than Satan himself.

you need to stop blaming god...just look inside yourself and remember how you were before. not the part about not believing in god but why you were so successful in life. the answer is in you not religion or faith. stop praying and start doing...and your pity party will end!!

good luck!

You are punishing yourself.

You need to understand that no-one's god (or other deliria) can change the future of what you create /mess up.
