By the time you go through security and wait for your plane you are probably better off driving and it only takes like 3:30 to 3:45 to get there!

b/c most NYs don't have cars & it's usually more expensive to rent a car + gas than to simply fly there. sounds like your from Boston. only someone from a place where a lot of people drive & own cars would ask this. :-)

Some people have corporate accounts and so they just fly everywhere and collect the frequent flyer miles. Some people have lost their license due to drinking and driving and have to take the train or bus or fly. Driving means you can't read a book if you are alone. But I guess they could get a book on cd. But I understand about security at airports is way too long now. But at certain times of days, I can go right thru security very fast since I have slip on shoes.

Good point, but I'm going to assume that it's not so much a time sensitive issue as it is comfort. I would personally drive or take a train.

When your driving you can't get any work done. My favorite is to take the train it's so much prettier and you can accomplish some work.

Amtrak is even better !
With the Price of Gas, it is almost cheaper than driving.

or better yet, take the train... amtrak has a great service right into the downtowns of either city.. much better than haggling over taxis!
