Ok look at it this way, watch the news tonight. I can assure you that you will hear at least one commandment broken (and thats only if its a slow news day), and if you watch the news for about two months or so, you will see almost all ten broken. The news just focuses on the stories that will get us asking questions like this instead of stories people really want to hear, like medical breakthroughs, or the weather. Have you ever noticed how they give you every bad story duing the first 30-40 minutes of a hour-long broadcast and then give you stories on food recalls, health breakthroughs, and other things people NEED TO KNOW? Lets say you were about to eat some spinach one night, and it was the night after E .coli was detected in Californian spinach. You stayed up to watch the news, but you were tired, and after 20 minutes of murder, fires and more, you fell asleep. 15 minutes later, they talk about the E. coli. Well, i guess you're screwed, huh? Should of been more interested in death, bombings and destruction!
The point is, good things happen all the time, but almost everyone who CAN make you feel like the world is doomed WILL. Its horrible, i know, but there are just a lot of evil, dispicable people out there, and when they get together to form things like the news, well then they can spread the evil of their brethren futher.
So no, I dont think the world has gone beyond repair, but in about 15 years it will, because around then is when scientists say global warming will become irreversable.

I don't think it's been damaged beyond repair. Unfortunately, I think humans are responsible for the damage and the only way to 'fix' some of these problems is to get rid of a large number of people. Even though I don't really want to see it happen, the world could repair itself if 80% of the population (or more) was wiped out by some sort of disease or catastrophe. It's not something I look forward to since I'm assuming I'll be one of the people who gets killed but I think it would be a good thing for the planet in the long run.
*I'm talking about the larger problems like pollution, etc., not just random acts of violence which will always happen, even if there were only 10 people on the face of the earth.

The end of the world as you know it is already approaching. The bible gives clear signs to look for durin that time, and at no other time in the history of the world has it all happened like it is now. Is it beyond repair? For man to fix, yes, for God to fix, no. Soon the antichrist will appear and bring world peace and many will call him God because he solved all the problems, then he will CREATE problems and start wars, sponser manhunts, etc. In other words, it will seem to get better, than become worse than it's ever been before. The bible says if those days were not shortened, no flesh would survive. All life would perish. It will only be truely fixed when the Lord returns and makes things right.

Tabby is right. If you study history a little you will read the most horrible stuff you can imagine. Killing babies massacring cities, torture, murder ,rape, etc. One time God gave some people a large chunk of real-estate. Problem was there were already people living there. The problem was resolved but not for long. There was a guy that messed with the establishment by turning over their money tables. He was executed by the state. Once there was a royal bich that took baths in the blood of young girls to make herself young and pretty again. Around 500,000,000 people were killed in wars during the 20th century. More civilians were killed than soldiers on either side. Nothing much has changed. I think we fit into nature more than we like to admit. Yesterday I saw two birds fighting. Did you know love birds commit adultery? yep, sure do.
But scientist haven't been taking data long enough to draw sound conclusions on global warming and they aren't as smart as they would like us to believe.

In my last question I said that evil doesn't exists. I have no more questions left so I guess I could clarify here since it is fitting.
There is no such thing as evil. If there were then someone could point it out and show how it is evil. Some say murder is evil, but that is not always the case. Some said Jack the Ripper was evil, but we do not know how he treated his next door neighbours. Yous ay that the world is going bad, or has gone bad. That is just your perception. There will always be suffering in different parts at different times and for different reasons just as there will always be joy and abundance in different parts at different times. The world changes, things adapt. In your small section of the world things will be ok again soon enough.

No, actually the world has been getting better for the last 200 years. Whetehr you look at levels of criminal violence, illness, starvation, levels of education or prison conditions there has been significant improvement.
Yes, of course WW I and II were temporary upward ticks in violence but the number of wars being fought today is lower than at any time in history.
Be of good cheer.

Ever since human societies have existed, those types of things have been happening. The media just likes to focus in on the negative aspects since it seems most people care about that more.

It's not beyond repair. It will take serious people with discipline and enthusiasm to reverse the foolishness of so many generations, but it can be done.

The world is so screwed up. No politician will give us the "tough love" we need to stop the overspending and greed. I predict riots in the streets by 2020.
