what is the calorie difference between , a regular slice of bread and a toasted slice , i really like my bread almost burnt i was wondering it that makes a difference in the calorie intake , please advise, thanks!

The calories are the same.

In short, there's no difference.


Warmer bread will contain more calories than cold bread, but this is a difference of normal calories not kcals (or food calories.)

Toasting the bread won't change the caloric content unless you really char it, as the calories in the burned portion would be released.

Toasting a piece of bread simply reduces the amount of moisture (water), it does not change the calories.

Toasting does not add calories.
