There is this awsome girl in my class. I think she is cute and has an awsome sense of humor and yet i find so many reasons NOT to ask her out?

(maybe because at first i told myself not to get TOO involve with people in the class such as befriending everyone. my situation is sorta wierd. I am currently going to a community college just to take some fun classes during my spare time, but i've already graduated from college and got my degree. i'm actually 3-4 years older than the people in the class, but i look so young that i blend so easily. i sometimes lie about myself just to stop them from being too curious. i usually say "yeah, same here." But i got tired lying. And when i told them the truth, they were shocked, specially with my age. hahah. now i know people in there are going to be asking me more questions, just the opposite of what i wanted. now all i want to do is ask the cute girl out. so much for i said of not getting TOO much involve wiht people in that class.)

First, lying sure isn't going to make her like you! Just be yourself and if thats not good enough then she's not good enough for you!

It seems that you are just afraid to ask her out. You could just ask her to lunch, not like a date and see how things go. Once you are not in class with her anymore it would be easier to date her.Three or four years older is not alot so I wouldn't worry about that. Plus if you are just taking these classes for fun all the more reason to get to know her. Good luck

I think youre still good, just ask her out still and do what most people do and don't tell your business to the class. If she is cool with keeping it on the hush then everything will be cool. But just make sure you explain to her that you dont won't the whole class in your business, so she won't think you are just using her and ashamed to tell everyone you are going out with her or that you are a player and dating another chick in the class.

Nothing wrong with wanting to fit in, but lying to do so is never a good thing. You tell this girl you like her, she may think that everything from here on out is a lie. Be honest with people and if you aren't comfortable answering questions, don't. They will get over it. Your business is just that, yours... If you don't want to share you don't have to.

Well, either you don't really want to ask her out bad enough, or you are just terrified of rejection. For only being two letters, the word no is pretty scary. My advice? Go for it. Ask her out for like a cup of coffee (if you drink it) or for some study time. Who knows?

We can't know what's wrong with you. Are you too nervous to talk to her? It sounds like you just don't have the courage to do it. Rather than ask about it on here, just go talk to her and do it. The sooner you get it out, the less you have to worry about it.

You already graduated college and you still don't know how to ask a girl out? Mr. You need to just do it. Get over it.

you're just shy, what's the big deal if you're a little older than the students, it's just like high school where the seniors would ask freshman out. just DO it. once it's done it's done and you'll feel better.

Just ask her out... take a chance!
She might like the fact that your older and different from everyone else around you.

Nothing is wrong with you. Just ask the girl out. You'll never know until you try.
