I know they referb'd' it a couple of months ago. How did you like it? How was the service? I have been on Mariner of the Seas and it was nice. I know this one is a small ship but I an curious if its ok.

I just got off the Majesty a week ago. It was my first cruise and I was very impressed. I would sail again on that ship and especially with Royal Caribbean. The service was excellent, the food superior, and the staff was always friendly. Our cruise director and staff were so outgoing and made all of the events on board so much fun!
I would higly recommend sailing on that ship.

I personally try to stay away from Royal Caribbeans older ships, they aren't the best, in my opinion. I just don't think that Royal Caribbean is very good at upkeeping ships.

Mariner is going to be a lot nicer than Majesty, as it was built in 2003, where Majesty was built in 1992. Some of the problems include dirty carpets, sewage smells, bad food, rocky ships (older stabalizers) etc. I've included a link to some reviews for you to look over. Rhapsody of the Seas went into a dry dock for 9 nights a few weeks ago, I know some people that went on it two weeks after the drydock. At that point they still weren't completely done with everything (even though it was all supposed to be finished in the 9 day period), the ship had odors of sewage and other things in multiple places, the carpets were stained, windows were dirty, etc. and Rhapsody was built in 1997, so it is even a few years newer than Majesty.

If you can, I would try to find a newer ship. The new ships are usually pretty good, Freedom of the Seas is pretty awesome. But, if you can, I would try to stay away from Majesty.

I would definitely read the reviews at Cruise Critic before booking.

Hope this helps!
