BOYCOTT NASCAR?? Are you serious? You'll get used to the way it looks.Sure,it's weird looking, but it doesn't look as bad as it did when the teams were testing it.When they were in primer they looked worse than they do all painted up.If you don't like them--DON'T WATCH.It's not like some teams have them and some don't-they all have to race the ugly things.By the time the race was over,I wasn't even thinking about them.

I agree that the car is ugly and will take some getting used to, but to boycott because of it....no. The Chase took some getting used to as well. That's just because no one likes too much change.

I am, however, getting tired of Nascar's inconsistencies. If they don't stop the crap they've been pulling the last couple years I might consider watching less. Even then, I doubt I could really boycott the sport. I enjoy it too much. Unless Jimmie keeps winning...I don't know how much more of that I can take!!

I can't say that I will boycott nascar, but I sure don't watch all the coverage that I use to. To be honest it doesn't have anything to do with the COT. I just think their losing what racing is all about. All of the commercialization, the fines,(for every little thing) and the greed for the money is taking away the Great Racing that use to be Nascar.

To be honest. The way NASCAR is slowly bringging in the COT, there's not really going to be a problem. People will get used to it. You know, they will be taking 5 years to actually replace what will be called the TCOTP. NASCAR fans adapt rather quickly. Yes we ***** and grip, but then we find the GOOD in it all. Dale Sr's tragic death had nothing to do with the change. Nor did any other recent deaths. Thats why we have the safer barrier. The COT is to slow down the speed that technology has brought us to.

How many millions in technical development go into something like that, do you think they care whether or not you think it's ugly? Still and all, it's nice to see that NASCAR is tacitly admitting the cars are light-years away from being "stock".

Why would you boycot over an UGLY car you didn't seem to boycot over the FORIEGN car. I mean really wouldn't that be the more logical reason to boycot if you so desired. I myself am able to acclimate. It is a world out there and some where amongst us the powers that be will keep changing things to suit them. I find that if I would run everytime there is a change in something I like or love I would be running like Forrest Gump.

People arent just used to the change and whne they develop something better or modify the old car or something happens then everything will change again. I personally don't like it but it will take some time getting used to. So I like the old cars better and I think the could have modified those to be safer without this new COT.

The ugly car is supposed to be safer for the drivers, but I agree it's ugly. We'll still watch and follow NASCAR, and hope this will prevent another Dale Earnhart type accident.

Boycott NASCAR. You have got to be kidding. No? Well then, you go on without me.

Maybe you will watching the parade that F1 calls racing.
