How can I turn a portable DVD player into a laptop with laptop features?

Sorry you can't do that. DVD players don't have enough "smarts" to be anything but DVD players.

You can turn your portable DVD player into a laptop by putting it on top of your lap when your are watching DVD. By doing so, it would have the laptop feature and that is being able to put it on top of your lap. You can call it laptop DVD player but of course it can never be a laptop pc.

that doesn't make sense, its a dvd player not a laptop.
