I had this ex who completely ripped me apart, figuratively speaking. He...well to put it bluntly he cheated on me. Now whenever I try to get close to a guy I keep telling myself that they are all the same and that this one will do the same thing the last one did. You see my problem? How do I learn how to trust guys again?

Yes some of us guys are real jerks thats true but there are still some of us who are good guys that deal with the other jerks who have done bad things while dating. Just keep and open mind and in time you will find a good one. Just listen to your own little voice and feeling when dating. Your feelings are usually right. Good luck and sorry you have been jerked around!

Love, you just need to let go and let God deal with you about this. You should be praying about the situation. It's not right for one person to cheat on another especially if you really loved this guy. He has moved on with his life so you just need to do the same unless you are still in love with him. Did you every tell him how that made you feel? You will never be able to trust a guy unless you resolve your feelings for this guy. It's ok to let him know how he hurt you and if you are over him tell him that because what goes around comes around and the same thing is going to happen to him one day. God Bless if you discover a great guy then don't have sex with him and that way you will know if he loves you for you or you for your body.

When you start falling for another guy, you will see that he has nothing in common at all with your ex. Slowly, he will become your focus and you won't dwell on the past. But give it time. A good guy will not treat you that way, but you're going to have to let go of old issues or a new love won't stay around. No guy wants to be defending himself every time he turns around, and he won't want to be judged on how some other jerk behaved.

You need to do some work on yourself. If you are having that much trouble letting go of past baggage, you need to seek some professional help. If you don't let it go, you will constantly attract men with this kind of behavior. Try watching the DVD "The Secret". It's all about how our thoughts attract our circumstances.

It takes time to trust again and takes time for you to get over a bad experience. Don't be in a hurry to get into another relationship until you are ready.

Change your choice of men. They are not all the same, but you do need to chose wisely. Good Luck
