If there's one natural resource we city dwellers have in abundance it's other people. In their wild and abundant diversity they connect us the the world beyond our urban limits, reminding us of what lies waiting for us to discover, and stimulating us to know more.

Hopefully by learning to hate the taste and smell of chlorinated water, seeing the brown along the horizon and looking up at night and barely seeing just a few stars.

But, to be honest, I don't think any of that really gets to much of anyone.
