Prophet Muhammed Or Islam has no thing against dogs or any other animal. where did you get this.. In Islam if the dog is wet and comes in contact with the furniture or dress that furniture or dress becomes contaminated or NAJIS. The "contaminated" furniture or dress remains so unless cleaned by water or left under the sunshine for certain period of time. In your case the only possible problem is with furniture which comes in contact with the dog moisture. This is assuming that the furniture belongs to the landlord otherwise it's a problem because once you move you will move the furniture out of the apartment. Let us suppose that a Muslim dress or skin was contaminated with the dog moisture, what consequences will have. The Muslim must clean that moisture with water before he or she can pray one of the five obligatory daily prayers and that is all..... IF the dog remains in the apartment and its moisture does not stain the furniture or the walls then I think there is no thing to worry about as far as the Muslim landlord is concerned. Have you got a prove from the Qur'an That Prophet Muhammed did order to kill all dogs in his town..

Islam is based on the holy book, Quran.
The prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) was the best example of Islam.
Muslims follow his example and do as he did, at least they try to do as he did, to the best of their ability.
This is called the way of the prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) which is called the Sunnah.
197 years after the prophet (pbuh) passed away, a scholar of Islam was born who took it upon himself to record the stories and way of life of the prophet. This man's name is Bukhari, a muslim priest. It was his job to filter out many of the stories, sort out the bad from the good, the true from the untrue, the substantiated from the unsubstantiated.
From about 60000 he found 6000 substantiated stories.
There are many such hadiths ie the ones found in the Quran are undisputed and saheh or pure or correct.
Remember, he started more than 200 years after the prophet passed away and as a result there were no more witnesses alive who could attest to the ways of the prophet (pbuh). Thus he began interviewing the elders, once he found that a good few could colloborate each other's stories, he added these to his list of hadiths.
There were daif hadiths (weak) and were discarded.
As you know if you relate a story from one person to the other, it becomes distorted the further it travels from person to person.
In your question, what you have is someone's superstition that was added and discarded by Bukhari.
Where Bukhari had no other colloboration, he stated this in the hadith - in other words, it was related to him by one person only and cannot be regarded as pure or genuine.
Those who fear the truth will do anything to deny it.
The smallest crack will be exploited but what they don't realise is that the more they display their ugliness, the more the truth is exposed.
The best prayer anyone can make is to ask God to show her/him the truth - that's all you have to ask God. If you are sincere in your prayer, you will be shown the truth, God willing.
