That sounds pretty crazy. Lets draw their attention away from Iraq by creating a fake international incident in the very next country over, and make sure you pick a country that even sounds like Iraq. That will get their minds off the war.

Well, it's certainly convenient at just at the time British and US populations are turning overwhelmingly against the whole Iraq occupation -- we suddenly have another crisis in the region.

Just in time to shift our focus and make Iran the new enemy.
