Don't look down on yourself for having wisdom beyond your years to realize the dangers of doing anything "stupid" just for the sake of having "whatever" or for not allowing you to give in to peer pressure. I think that you are a very special person and that you are too smart to go along with the rest just because...
I suspect that you are blessed with real loving parents, especially a caring dad and a loving mom. This is what I pick up from your question.
Your heart isn't empty at all just because you happen to have a healthy brain.
Don't make the mistake of confusing being wise to being lonely.
Embrace that wisdom and make "it" your best friend as it will go on guarding you from the perils of this life and safeguard you from more harm than you can yet imagine.
If I were in your shoes, I'd be so grateful to have acquired such life "smarts" so young that no one would be able to say or do one single thing that could wipe the smile off of my face! and my heart would be bubbling forth with joy and peace and love for anyone or anything that could have made it possible for me to be blessed with such a mind-set.
You're a very fortunate girl.
It's just the world around you that doesn't have the ability to recognize something they probably have no clue about!
They're not unlike the monkey who just has to do what it sees others do. You have the strength to be different in spite of everything life throws at you. Learn to thank your parents, God, and to love yourself for the "treasure" you really are!

You cannot MAKE yourself love someone any more than you can MAKE someone love you. Maybe it's not time for you to experience this feeling. Maybe you need to work on being happy with who you are and where you are in life.
Don't be in a rush, especially if you are not even in college yet. Life is hard enough before college without adding the whole dating thing in there. Having guy friends and girl friends is great! No complications (or very few).
Don't be disheartened just because it seems everybody has someone to love but you...it will come in due time.....enjoy what you have now...good friends.

You know what, I kind of had the same problem. Let me get right to the point. You don't have to fall in love or have feelings for someone. Stay focused on school or your business or whatever that is your number one priority. There is no need for you to try to open your heart and look for the password of it. All it means is that it is not the time!

It sounds like you think you are supposed to have SB because everyone else does.
You can't love on demand. Give yourself a break. When you stop beating yourself up about it, good things will happen.

You cant make your heart love someone. But you can increase the possiblities of meeting someone that you can generally click with. Go out more, to different places if you can. If your older, go to a different bar. If your younger, try to find out about different parties through your friends and stuff. Be patient, because when that time comes, you will be glad you were selective! good luck

Life happens in it's own time. Love your family and concentrate on your education right now. The one who knows the "password" just hasn't found you yet. And probrably doesn't go to your school.

The password to opening your heart is to love yourself first. If you don't love who you really are, then you can never truly love another.

it isnt something you can control. its just something that happens, i know it sounds cliche but i was trying to do the opposite of what you did. i never wanted to give my heart away. and no one really made me want to give it up either until i met my boyfriend. then its time to let go , when you meet someone who you want to give the password to your heart.

Stop looking for love. It is when you're not looking for it that it pops up. If you look for it too much, it makes you look desperate which is a turn off.
Forget about it and you might be surprised...
