It look slike there is a bubble in one of my hearts. I have followed the after care instructions to a T!!! Is this just the scab or some of the dry skin or is there something wrong? Just wanted to see what people thought before I call the place I got it done at.

(It is on my foot.)

Dear Hey man! I do not know you so I am going to take your stupid response as inexperince in life. If you do not like tattoos then don't get one. I got this to remind me of my 3 kids. Do I need to be reminded of them? No, but I wanted a tattoo so I got something that I would never regret. I put 5 years of thought into this. I did not run out and get it. It is 3 small heart on my right foot. I did not deface my body. It is my body. I am one of the most well rounded people you will ever meet. I am married, we have 3 beautiful children and I am very happy with myself and my life. I am so glad that there are men out there like my husband that support their wives and girlfriends decisions and loves us for who we are and not because we don't have any tattoos! I was a strong, loving Mom and Wife before I got the tattoo and I am exactly the same with the tattoo. You have a lot of growing up to do.

ok for starters some ppl need to look at the persons image before saying "really without a picture, it's hard to say" duhhh..

Very cute tattoo i have to say, i would just wait it out until its fully healed or less your very concerned with it and then my suggestion would be to go back to the shop and get it looked at.

If needed they can touch it up after its healed all the way.

I would wait until it is completly healed, it most likely will go away, but if it doesnt, just go back and ask the tattoo artist.

Hey You- You are a nerd and need to get out more.

it depends how long you've had it done, the ink can look alot darker in places until all the dead upper layers of skin and scab have come off to reveal the deeper tattooed layers.

so though it might look like there is no scab blocks of colour can look patchy until the 'damaged' skin comes off to leave an even covering of fresh skin. and because there are hair follicles being tattooed over it can cause lumps and bumps if they're caught by the needle but it's only a temporary thing.

really without a decent picture, it's hard to say in your case.

EDIT:
for the various people who gave me a 'thumbs down' lemme tell you that i have two full sleeves, a piece on my back and a piece on my chest so i can assure y'all that i'm speaking from (15 years of) experience - the appearance during the healing process colour-wise isn't necessarily what the end result will be. why would it be, you just assaulted it with alot of abuse!

@Meg: i dunno what you're looking at, but since tracie doesn't have a 360 profile the only picture available to us is about 80 pixels width at the very best - how can people give an honest judgement about skin condition from a picture smaller than the size of a coin that shows no detail? *think*

@Hey Man! GET REAL!: i'd be surprised if you know ANY women, and beggars can't be choosers so stfu or stay at bible camp. if ignorance is bliss you must be ecstatic, you seem to be of the opinion that if it doesn't please YOU then it should be condemned...who want's to please your vision over their own anyways?

"And remember, "Tatoo Parlors", like every other sordid "business", care about ONE thing: $$$$$!!!!!" as a god-lover do you realise how much you've contradicted yourself? the church is one of the richest institutions on the planet and the money made by every tattoo studio in the world pales into comparison compared to the greedy income religion rakes in through all the land christianity owns - and at least with tattoos people are guaranteed something for their money which is more than can be said for 'salvation'. do your research.

Without the benefit of seeing it in person it's hard to actually tell...but it's my guess that yes it is a scab...do not pick at it whatever you do!!!!! I don't know what your place told you to use but really the best thing to use is Palmer's Cocoa Butter for Stretch Marks this keeps the skin lubricated and apply it as often as you think of it not just 4-6 times a day...that's what I used and mine never scabbed...never to late to protect the rest of your tat.

I am no expert, but I can tell you that you will drive yourself crazy evaulating what you think your tattoo looks like before it is healed.

Give it 30 days, then take a look see.

A good artist will do a touch up if needed.

it might be a water blister or it could be the start of infection. i would go the the tattoo parlor and have the artist that did it look at it. if he can't tell u then i would go to the doctor.

it probably is not anything big your skin might be swelling in reaction to the ink, it should dissipate in about 8-10 days if not then go see your artist to have a close look at it
good luck it looks great

how long has it been? feet take a long time to heal. my skin sometimes forms ingrown hairs and stuff when healing which makes a bump. i would wait until it is completely healed and see how it looks unless it looks infected or something.
