Well, for some of us, we were given a moral imperative to reach non-believers. Some have family and friends who need them for support. I, personally, am enjoying life, and while I want to go to Heaven, I ain't goin' without a fight.

I can love God as I walk this earth also. I have family, children, grandchildren, etc. that I want to be with as long as possible.\
I certainly love God more than my family, and if God called me home early for some reason, Gods will be done. Yes, heaven is good, & if I had an experience of heavens gates & had to come back, I would probably be disappointed. But I can get a taste of heaven on earth everytime I am abiding in His love & His Word. And also, some of my family still need salvation, and many in the world need to be witnessed to about Gods redeeming grace.

right it really is the ingredient, the Bible says 6 days, alongside with an outstanding form of different issues that were proved incorrect by technique of scientist. it isn't a sin to be logical and comprehend that evolution is a reality and evolution theory explains that reality. because of this non secular leaders purposely lie and misinform their followers as they pontificate literal Bible, and evolution proves that inaccurate. it continues to be achieveable to believe in God and Evolution, I do only not. i do no longer believe that there is a personal God, it makes no experience. save teaching your self and wondering, you're doing a superior pastime. purely you may make the alternative on what you've self belief. I also propose reading the total Bible in case you have not, i come across many themes with the Bible that non secular leaders have a tendency to bypass over.

Sure we would rather be in Heaven, but many of us have family here and don't want to leave them, even temporily. Also God has a job for everyone and part of that is to work to influence others to Christ. How would we do that if we did not stay here. And then there is the old man in us that just wants to cling to life as long as possible.

I still have survival instincts and am in no hurry to end this life. Once I'm there, I'm there, it will be forever. There are still things I want to do in this life. Plus, whatever we accomplish in this life determines our standing in heaven, so here is the place to work on that. Finally, and maybe most importantly, I have a lot of friends and family members I want to see there with me, they need me here even though they don't really realize it.

Of course I would rather be in Heaven than on this earth. God put us here though, to learn and build character in preparation to live holy lives. That was the original intent from Adam and Eve, until Satan tempted Eve and Adam and caused them to disobey. Since then, sin entered the world and we are all sinners. Jesus came to earth to be the sacrifice of blood that cleanses us. He gives salvation as a Gift freely to those that accept it. In God's time, I will live in his presence. Until then, I try my best to learn and be a good example and try to contribute to God's will, not my own.

I would rather follow God's will -- and when it's His will that I die, then so be it.
In the meantime, there's a purpose for me here on earth -- to believe in Him and to do my best to build that belief in my daily life.
Our existence on earth is God's doing. Rejecting it as a "waste of time" isn't exactly an act of giving God His due.

where has the sting of death gone? I would think that Christians have less fear of death than most people do. However, no Christian would take their own life unless circumstances caused them to lose touch with who they are. I can only infer from your question that you may have been thinking of suicide as the way to skip the earth time; not for yourself, but as your question. Other than suicide I dont know any other way we could decide the exact time anyway.

Sure, seems like the classic dilema. To quote the Bible, "To live is Christ and to die is gain." You see it agrees with you except for that first part. To live is Christ and as a born again believer you are given a new lve of life, both yours and others, and you also know from your very heart that God alone gets to decide when and where you shall "gain".

We as Christians have been commissioned by Christ to tell the world of Jesus' love and sacrifice. Being dead and in heaven does no good in helping fulfill that. We need to use our time here on earth for that purpose.
