I'm thinking more of Kite-Kat than Whiskers here.

Yeah, I love cat food....
I've noticed that my kidneys have been hurting lately, though.....

When my dad first immigrated to the States, he didn't speak/read any English, and he ate canned cat food for a while (I think like a week or two) because he thought it was tuna fish; he saw a picture of a fish on the can and assumed that it was tuna. Although he doesn't say that he "liked" it, he says that it was ok. And, I guess it couldn't have been that bad considering that he ate it for around a 1/2 month.

Heh heh heh. I must convince I've tried a few. Here are my taste test results:

Whiskas - gross, gritty texture, could barely swallow it.
Go Cat biscuits - horribly strong, had to spit it out.
This random dog biscuit as a dare - hideous. Too strong, spat it out.
Hills Feline Kidney diet - yummy, just like liver pate! Maybe a bit strong.
PetSmart Dog cookies - looked so crumbly and tempting, and tasted that way too - for about two seconds before I was gagging on the strength of the flavour.

There are several others I'm always tempted to try, but I've had so many bad experiences....

Oddly enough, I refuse to eat salad. Now THAT stuff is wrong.

We don't have Kite-Kat around here, but I found out it's owned by the same company that owns Whiskas, Mars Incorporated.

What's wrong with people food? I'd be careful. Many cat foods are low quality with no actual meat. You could be eating animal by-products (organ meat, nervous tissue, cartilage, bone, blood and excrement), mystery meats, recycled restaurant grease, preservatives, and who knows what else. After you realize what you're eating, think about what you're feeding your cat.

I remember there was guy on TV whose job it was to taste pet food because it has to be fit for human consumption in case it is eaten in error (or not as the case may be)

I did mistakenly once pick up a piece of cat biscuit thinking it was a piece of bread crust. It was foul!! To this day I don't know how it got there.

When I was 5 I used to get yelled at by my mom all the time because I wouldn't stop eating the cat's food. I thought it tasted good!

Unfortunately I have never had the pleasure of eating cat food but I once tried a shot of whiskas milk and I must admit, it wasn't too bad (honestly)!!

LOL :) My cat and I enjoy a number of the same foods, however he's more likely to taste-test my food than I am his!

No, but I have eaten Beggin Strips like they were jerkey. I like the taste when it is in your mouth, but they leave a bad aftertaste.
I am so serious about this!

Nope! But when my sister was little, I handed her a dog treat to give to our dog, and she took a bite. She then told me, I dont like this cookie. She was probably about 4.

Not really, but my cat loves eating human food like grilled SALMON, TUNA Mayonnaise, FISH fingers, stir-fry CHICKEN, yoghurts, trifles, whipped cream, milk, cheese, eggs,....
