Ok firstly you need to explain why you are splitting up so i can gain a better understanding of your situation. I have open in front of me 1 Corinthians but i am not sure what verse to give you because i don't know the whole situation, However, chapter 2... it talks about wisdom. Paul says trust in God's wisdom and not our own.... and... ''no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him''. Now to me that's all you need to know right now. Understanding He has a plan for both of you and he knows what you are going through and has the answer!Just focuss on God, he will direct you, he will guide you and give you wisdom in this situation IF you trust him and stay close to him like he requires us to for our own spiritual health so to speak. (You can get an awful lot from these scriptures.) Both of you have obviously wanted to part company for one reason or another, perhaps it was becoz you knew you were not the ones for each other or something else, still, whatever the reason, remember that whatever you go through in life -STAY CLOSE to God and you will find the perfect answer through God's wisdom and he will reveal his perfect will for your life. It's really good you are looking to the scriptures, it's the best place!
I wish you well. God Bless!

But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB)

the book of james taylor...
"You just call out my name,
and you know whereever I am
I'll come running, oh yeah baby
to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
all you have to do is call
and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You've got a friend."
ok, it's not from the bible. but my point is valid, you don't need the bible to find the answers you're looking for...

I Cor. 13 has a lot of scriptures about love (not the worldly, lust type love) but agape love. Meaning you can have a friend that you love (you may not like their ways but love them for who they are).
