Buy no fish. Catch your own, catch only what you will eat, obey seasons and size and bag limits. If your state has any license plates for vehicles that cost a bit more but the money goes to a cause, there may be one for your state fisheries department, what have you. I'm sure there's more, but it's still early........

First off, I love the enviroment, I love what mother nature offers us in terms of beaty, recreation, and survival. With that said, people like you make it harder and harder for those of us who enjoy outdoor recreation to enjoy our sports.

Nature needs a balance inorder to survive. if you want to contribute to natrualism and save the fish, by all means do so, but at the same time stop being a hyprocrit, stop taking vitamines, don't use makeup, gie your cloths to the needy and live in the streets. Stop eating, (all foods come from nature), don;t drink water, (water is needed to keep fish alive, you might kill a fish by drinking its habitat). Don't use any chemicals as they might get back into the water systems and again kill fish. and for god sake don't go to the bathroom... human waste is very harmful to the fishs' echo system.
best solution to help would be for you to take an injection of oxygen to your blood stream so you can't do any harm to the enviroment. then you need to have your body shipped to the south pole where you will be frozen for eternity and you can't decompoze to harm any more fish.

my answer might seam rude, unethical, unorthedoxed, weird, scary, or what have you, but it is time for us to start puting our foot down and stop letting the enviromentalistxs get the better hand. there are laws and regulations gaurding how animals are harvested comercialy and recreationaly. these laws are put into efect to help both the animals and to help us as people. If a person realy wants to help save the fish, buy a fishing licence, joing a fishing club, go to some fishing derbys, and just enjoy mother nature. by doing this, you will be spending money that goes back into helping raise more fish, supporting research wich helps he fish, and you won't have to kill yourself trying to save the fish.
