I just have one simple rule.
That at no time in the history of that religion was ritual human sacrifice ever practiced.
I don't care how long ago it was or even if they eventually decided it wasn't a good idea.
If the religion is based on a previous religion, both religions must meet this criteria.
Denominations or Sects will be judged on the core religion, not the particular history of just that Sect.
Can you suggest a religion that meets this criteria?

You sound as if you need to "find" a religion. Why not just believe what you can believe, and don't believe what you can't believe?
I'm also wondering why you have this standard instead of something more... modern? Countless people have died in the name of religion, many of them human sacrifices. But, like people, religions change and grow.
It almost seems like you have a grudge against a religion that ever did something like that. Why hold a grudge? There isn't much of a point.
But, if you're that desperate to have only one standard, there's always Scientology! :D It's pretty popular with the celebs as of late.

Religions aren't cults or cliques you just join man! You have to be spiritually with your religion and you can't just make up your own regulations.
There will be things you will have to live by whether you like it or not.
You have to seek it out on your own like the person said above.
By the way, I'm a Christian.

I think you should take the beliefnet.com religion quiz so that you can get some idea of what religion would be good for you and so you have a long list the you can start doing some research on your own and visit some mosques, synagogues etc.
But from what you just told me, a TON of religions match, but I would have to say Islam or Sikhism are really good ones.

What will you do once you discover that such religious practice is observed somewhere? I recommend that you start at the grocery store in the vegetable department. I have never seen human sacrifice occurring there. I think that they are called Vegans. No meat.

Here is a challenge and promise from God.
In the book of Mormon it says he fully reads and asks God in the name of Christ if the church is his true church and if the book is correct, God will manifest the truth to you.
I got my answer and it saved me much confusion and looking for a religion because once you get a answer from God you know it is true that puts all other religions to bed.

Paganism is also one, but they were slandered to this effect by the Romans so not everyone believes that.

it sounds like you already made up your mind about a "suitable religion" so why ask? if you hadnt made up your mind i would say i dont know a suitable religion but a do know a MASTER, KING, LORD...one GOD, Jesus and the holy spirit! i pray that people like you would open their eyes and stop listening to society and start listening to truth.
