how did the feeling finally came to an end?

They havn't and dependent on how much you really love them there still be intense years and years down the line. The whole Idea of "move on" just means that you stop expecting them in your life, you'll never forget them. It takes a lot of history with new people for it to even come to par with that "true love" one you had... but its a matter of muturity to accept the fact the heart can forgive, but never forget... unfornatly were forced to have to find a way to forgive or else it hurts and burns even more, for even longer... good luck. The best fix of all is to finaly love yourself without them.
