Yup, we are all products of inbreeding if you are to take the Adam and Eve story literally and not as allegory.
First Adam and Eve's children had incestuous sex and then (if you also believe there was a Global Flood that only 8 people survived) Noah's sons' children also had incestuous sex.
And apprently all the billions of species of wildlife on our planet also came from inbred animals who were on the ark.
Any geneticist would tell you that all of this is highly impossible. They already have problems with inbred lions in the game parks in South Africa producing defective offspring.
Read your bible with some common sense people.

Yes, Adam and Eve's kids married they're sisters a brothers until the world was so populated (like today) that we don't know where our husbands or wives tie into our family tree. In Genesis it says that God told Adam and Eve to populate the earth. There is proof right there that their kids had to marry one another.

Adam and Eve had many many children in their long lives... and brothers and sisters did "get together"... the only way it could have gotten done... as far as Cain goes... he was an outcast... by the time he got a mate it was most likely a great great grand niece...or 20th cousin or some such relationship... as they lived several hundred years in those first days the family relationships would have diverged quickly after several different combinations of pairings.

Adam and Eve had other children - and yes, it was his sister. The usual explanation is that being so close to perfection (God created them "perfect" - including a free will) they could inter-marry without any physical defects which would appear today.

Cain married his sister. This is the only explanation that fits with Biblical history. The reason for incest laws is to protect potential offspring from serious physical and mental deformities. People back then were much closer to perfection than we are, as evidenced by their incredible life span. Mental and physical deformities would have been extremely minimal if not altogether absent at that time.

Yes.
That was WAY before God wrote laws against incest.
Besides... If Adam and Eve were the first creation, they would be genetically pure, so there wouldn't be a problem with so many of the genetic diseases we see today with 'inbreeding'.

Yes, it would have been a sister - the law to not marry close relatives came in later - even Abraham married his half sister Sarah.

Yes, that would be the logical assumption. It is also possible that God could have created other humans before the fall of man, but I would go with the first assupmtion. There are many reasons this would not be the same as incest today...go ahead and ask me if you want.

Yes... and however you view the beginning of man, it traces back to a brother sister getting together. If you trace us back to the apes well guess what, apes really love their siblings.
