I have three really great speakers, (#4 got destroyed) I would like to use them for my front L,R, & center channels. Is there a way that I can magnetically sheild either them or my television so that there is no interference??? Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

That is NOT an easy task. I tried putting a "counter magnet" on the back of my drivers, like what is done with many stock drivers. It worked O.K., but not great. Your best bet is to just keep your existing left and right speakers far enough away from the TV so they don't do goofy things to the TV. For your center channel, buy a speaker that is SPECIFICALLY designed for that purpose, because that one should go right on top or below the TV. You shouldn't have much trouble finding a good "sonic" match for your existing speakers even if it is a different brand. Many center-channels are now reasonably priced. Good luck.

if you have a projection TV then theres nothing to worry about, if not then i would consider placing them in the rear and buying new magnetically shielded ones for the front. at least you would have a pretty nice surround sound outfit after that!

You need speakers that are magentically shielded or you need more space between your TV and speakers, 36" is good depending on the size of your TV.
