how many people agree there should be stiffer penalties for people who kill motorcyclists?

i think there should be, some 19 year old ditz killed a guy here just yesterday and only got one meaningless ticket.

i ride a 600lb Victory 8-Ball, but i dont believe their should be stiffer penalties, unless it can be proven that the driver at fault was reckless.

An accident is an accident - kinda comes with the territory.

Motorcyclists (myself included) have a resonsibility not to let themselves get killed. Other than that, accidents are accidents and the penenly should not be based on whether the dead person chose to endanger themselves by riding a motorcyle or if they chose not wear a seat belt. (probably you won't like this answear)

I love my motorcycle but your question sounds a bit strange, like drivers are out looking to kill other people on motorcycles on purpose. I think the penalty for negligence causing death from accidents is pretty severe as it is, cars, motorcycles,pedestrians whatever.

Motorcyclists are vulnerable, and under current law, someone can murder one, and if they have a good enough story for the police get away with it.
