I have a theory on this,
When a "nice guy" enters into a relationship with the typical woman, he will build up her confidence. He compliments her on her looks, her actions and her personality. He treats her right and her confidence begins to grow. Now that her confidence has reached new heights, she will think "this guy is nice, but with my new confidence I can approach that really really "hot guy"" This is where the "nice guy" is dumped
Ok now let me explain the other side of my theory, its why women stay with the cocky guys.
Now with the swollen confidence from her "nice guy" this girl approaches the new "hot guy" and begin a relationship. He talks mainly about himself. He doesnt say it outright but he makes her feel like she is lucky to be dating such a "hot guy" like himself. He never compliments her. Her confidence sinks. She is now convinced that she IS lucky to have this "hot guy" and does whatever she can to remain with this guy.
Do you aggree? what are ur thoughts?

haha first answer is a joke. I didnt say the first example the nice guy was not confident. In fact I say that he is more confident in himself and doesnt have to build himself up like the cocky guys

btw this isnt a personal experience. I saw a guy in a club treating his women like crap and acting cocky and jerk like to my bar tender friend so told him to cool it and of course like all cocky guys, ran off with his tail between his legs but to my surprise the women followed him

We do finish last because we lack an important key. I just figured it out today. We lack the drama mechanism that women strive upon, we need to learn how to harness the power!

Just be a man. There is some truth to that but both examples suck. They are extremes and neither one is a good representation of what a woman truly wants. The nice guy she probably didnt have much attraction for to begin with, women do want a nice guy but not a pushover. The jerk.. yea, she may be with him for a little bit but if shes smart she'll eventually leave him too. Who wants to be treated that way? A believe a nice man who is commited yet not a pushover will win. What girl would want a jerk?
I cant understand why a woman would like a cocky man. Confident is ok but modest. Its much sexier to be modest about it than cocky. I hate COCKY men. I hate a man who talks a lot and says nothing. I hate a dumb man, a show off.

That's a pretty good theory. Personally, I'm the type of woman that has found a nice guy who can also be a hot guy. I make sure to keep him in line that way and he does the same with me. It's all about the relationship - - too much confidence needs to be checked...Which is why our country has the checks & balances system. Agreed on the girl being stuck "being the lucky one" but if she was willing to dump the nice guy to be with a hot guy, was she really worth keeping anyway? Find the nice girl...who won't take the crap from the "hot guy"!!

I very much agree with you, and it is a shame because not enough women give nice guys a chance at love. The same goes for women though, It seems guys just look for the sl*tty girl, and just look past the classy girls.
I hate cocky guys by the way....and a lot of girls feel the same way :) So the right girl is out there for you, you just haven't found her yet.

I don't agree with either. As you said it it is your opinion. It takes two people in any relationship. If they don't both work together it isn't going to last.
Maybe you are expecting too much after you start dating. Maybe you think that you are the nice guy, and she doesn't.
If you have had multiple relationships that ended this way maybe you should take a real good look at yourself. After all you were the only common thing in these relationships.

Not all girls are like that. To begin with, she probably never really liked you. If she did, she would have stuck with you until the relationship could not work anymore. Keep looking, you will eventually find the girl that deserves you.
Where are you guys when we need you? There are not enough of you around.

The exact same thing happened to me dude. It's sad isn't it. I did everything for this girl and she turned her back on me in a minute. Now I know it's not worth being nice anymore.

I guess all of the nice guys are lucky that all girls aren't as shallow as the one in your theory.

I'd say she doesn't have much of a brain and is incapable of thinking for herself and what's really good for her. But I don't know her so who cares,it's her choice to be dumbed down I guess..?
Oh , i know, she's a blonde, right? lol
