I recently acquired this bicycle and I am trying to learn more about it. Any details would be welcome. Thanks!

I believe they were built in Belgium, and were high end bikes. In the 1970's they sold for around $200, and that was a lot of money for a bike at that time.

My older brother had one when I was growing up. That was around 1948-50. It had big wide tires as compared to todays. It was fashioned more like a motor bike of those days. The high rail from the seat to the handle bars looked like a small gas tank and had a button on the side for a horn. The front fender had an indian head as a light it looked more like a hood ornament. They were a higher end bike. This was in central indiana.

It's got two tires,a seat,a frame,a chain that drives it when you apply pressure to the peddles.It probably has gears that you switch with you're fingers on the handle bars. Hope this has helped you.

Is this what you are asking about? They used to make a road frame with super advanced, super hard steel called Aermet but apparently they now concentrate on aluminum MTBs.
