would it make a difference to you if the person who chose what books went into the bible was homosexual?
would that change your view of that version or not?
i am not trying to be disrespectful this has actually happened is why I'm asking.

Yes it does that's why i will not have a KJV in my home. in 1611 being homosexual was a crime punished by death it didn't matter if you were a king or a farmer. the people of that time based their laws and their lives on the Vulgate bible. but the churches could not agree on what the texts meant so they insisted that king James have the bible re translated this gave King James the perfect opportunity to pick the translators and instruct them on which books to remove most of the books that were removed was to save his own neck. like the bible does state do not add to or take from and removing those books and changing words is adding to and taking from. so people are placing their faith in the hands of the biggest sinner of all time. god has always been big on things being pure there is no way he would approve a bible written by a man like that not only was he gay but he had a wife and a child not because he was bisexual but to keep the thrown. that was sin ageist her and her child and the country besides being a sin to god

During the Inquisition, the pope was having Christians killed for printing and distributing the bible in its entirety. The Pope had omitted certain parts of the bible that conflicted with the New Roman Catholic rules. After the Inquisition ended theres no telling what kind of people rewrote, changed or newly omitted in what is now the modern bible. The modern bible is wrong from the original. After all, history is written by the victors. You don't always get the truth in history because of this.

I have no doubt in my mind that someone along the line of editing and writing the Bible might have been a homosexual, from prophets to popes. All I care about is that they knew how to write and they knew how to edit and translate from one language to another. Their sexual orientation is none of my business.
You would be shocked who you interact with each day or each week is not straight: In the grocery store, on the street, at your local hospital or clinic, and yes, even in church or synagogue. If they are out there, then I can safely assume that the characters of the Bible and the authors (including women) scribes and translators of the Bible were not all straight either.

King James was a homosexual but he had no control over the books in the bible. If you are referring to him. No, the bible was twisted and altered in the first century.

It should but apparently the judgemental don't care. If they would THINK, then it would make no sense that a deity painted as anti-homosexual would ever let one be involved in his book.

God has FULL control of His message being preserved for everyone and all time. It is the message and not the amount of repetitions/books that is important. And who is actually putting it to script is irrelevant.

It would make as much difference as if you said, instead of "homosexual" something like
"happily married"
"unhappily married"
"red-haired"
"flat footed"
"has a goofy grin"
