Not eating for 2 weeks is a dangerous way to attempt to lose weight.

Not eating will deprive your body of the fuel it needs for basic body functions.

See your doctor and talk to him/her about your concerns.

Emily, I suggest taking a healthier approach to weight loss. While you will lose significant weight in the first week, your body will then go into a "starvation mode" and the weight loss will be less dramatic. Then, once you begin eating, your body goes in to the "overload mode" and will grab any fats that are present in the food.
The healthier choice is to begin eating more salads (without all the ranch dressing), lean meats and less simple carbs (cakes, white bread, etc). Add exercise to this, and you will have the body you truly want. Maybe not in time for prom, but it will look better. :)

I don't know exactly how much weight you would lose, but it would be dumb to do that. If you dont eat for a great period of time your body will go into "starvation mode". And once you start eating again you will just store all the food that you are eating because your body thinks you won't be eating again for a long period of time. You will lose wieght by not eating but as soon as you start eating again you wont digest anything and you will end up gaining more weight than you started out with

I am assuming you are planning a fast, so in answer to your question.. I found it depends on how much you have to lose.. the more you weigh the more you lose.. ie my friend and I went on a 2 week fast and she only had 20 to lose while I had much more.. In the 2 weeks she lost 5 lbs and I had lost 15lbs.. I suggest you do some reading on it because when you come off a fast you will need to do it slowly.. Or you will suffer... and make sure you drink lots of water and Good Luck

Starving yourself is not a healthy way to lose weight. Your body needs fuel to function properly. A sensible diet combined with a reasonable exercise program is the healthiest and most effective way to lose weight.

Starving yourself is not an effective method of losing weight. Sugar MUST be present in the blood stream (glucose) to effectively burn fat. Starving causes the body to go into "fat shock" which makes the body covet fat and burn lean muscle mass. A diet of 1000 clean calories (combined fat, carbohydrate, protein) and a good work out (aerobic and I do not mean "aerobics") will be the proper way to lose weight. The "conscientious caloric intake" method combined with exercise is the way to get fit, trim and healthy. DO NOT starve the body. You will do permanent damage.

Starving causes the body to hold on to any and all calories that you subsequently take in after your starving binge. It is as detremental as gorging on food! And then some! To sum it ALL up. Reduce your eating and increase your activities!

cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Starving yourself isn't a good way to lose weight. It'll put your body into starvation mode, which will stall or prevent weight loss. Also, think about the damage you could cause.
Not a good idea...

i'll be honest with you.
it depends how much fat you have to lose or how much water you'll drink (water weight) you'll basically be fasting which is good for flushing out the bad toxins in your body, but bad for your metabolism cuz it slows it down.

it also depends on how much of a work out you do. and how HARD you push yourself. i've lost 7 lbs in 3 days before.

What difference does it make? If you don't eat for two weeks you can do serious damage to your body, maybe die. If you don't drink, you will certainly die.
