Ethics and morality connotes wisdom and discipline. True discipline sprouts from real love. In the world today, a lot is talked about love but in reality very few know what is real love. Real love is the love we have for the creator...or anybody without any expectations. For a mother it is easier to love all as she has experienced the creators role and can rise above to a level where she can feel love and compassion for all. If many can do this then making life and environment easy for all shall help all those who are ethical and thus there shall be no obstacles in ehical living...

Because mankind is not ethical, basicaly. From time imemmorial the man kind is after to earn a good living, ie. they are after wealth. There is a saying in Malayalam, the scholar, the hermit and the aged bow their heads in front of the rich.

Moreover, ethics has no universal standardisation. It differs from place to place. In most western countries it is only natural for a girl and boy to live together. For many communities tax evation is not unethical.Even robbery and theft are approved among certain communities and they say wealth is to be with the mightier.

It poses no problem if you really set out to lead an ethical life. The problem comes only when you pretend to live ethically but are not convinced about it. Ethics never survive where strength is lacking, and when strength is not there, obstacles abound.

Not quite... even mothers are still attached to a sense of ego-clinging that causes suffering. True altruism and wisdom is about letting go of that attachment to "self"... when true altruism is applied, with compassion, "discipline" comes by default.

Obstacles are simply misapprehended perceptions of objects as they relate to our sense of ego and self, when you cultivate an understanding as to why you perceive things as "obstacles" and the real nature as to what they are... you cultivate a calmer approach and no longer define them as "obstacles".

It's all a matter of perception and that ego.
