Christians seem to be the ones who are quick to insult and condemn everyone to hell for not following as they do. Hell, maybe I just don't want to be considered as a total loss for being a woman, or maybe I don't want my father to stick his finger up in me. why is it so difficult for a christian to think logically, that maybe everyone has different beliefs and no matter how much you shove it down our throats, we won't believe that bs. No religion is the best religion, especially with fvckEd up christians around.

I don't hate anyone.

Does your doctor "hate" you when he tells you that you have a terminal illness? No, he is concerned and wants to help.

Christians aren't hating anyone when they tell people that they also have a terminal illness. That illness is sin, and it results not only in physical death, but an eternal one as well.

We also offer the cure. The cure is not religion. The cure is Jesus Christ.

First I'd like to say that I'm sorry if you are having a bad day. Hopefully, you aren't so angry all the time. I am a Christian and have some Christian friends and some non-Christian friends. While I certainly talk about church and my beliefs with my non-believing friends, I'm not doing so to insult, or shove it down their throats. It's part of my life and part of me. I have never insulted anyone or condemned them to hell. My husband isn't even a believer and we are very happy and in love. Why would being a Christian make me a total loss of a woman? I am a devoted wife, educated, and stay home to raise my two daughters. What you said about your father was unnecessary and disgusting and should have been kept between you and your psychiatrist. That isn't something I'd want the public knowing about, and I'm sorry it happened that way. I an a logical thinker. I think that positivity goes a long way. I think that people like you are out there to make Christians and other good people stronger. Please stop being so angry. I'll be praying for you.

Hi "Code";
Its turning into springtime here in Valley Forge, PA - yippee....
Anyway, hey, i'm a Christian, but not any
denomination - I am a student now 35 years in the manuscripts. I believe everybody has to sail their own ship, which is why I don't push Christianity on anyone. I do recommend it, however, but I am kind of
stuck somewhere in the middle, because the churches don't seem to get around to teaching correctly whats really written in the texts. Most of them teach their own church rules and regulations, etc.
Look, if you feel that the whole idea of God is bs, then it looks like you've made your choice, and thats what you are put here to do. I do think quite logically, and my thought from your question is that I wonder if you are basing your decision on what you know of the churches, or by what you hear others say. On this forum, I've heard it all:
You are gonna burn in hells eternal fire
forever: not in the manuscripts.
Eve ate fruit and God was mad at her:
not in the manuscripts.
God caused the flood because people were sinning: not in the manuscripts.
The earth was created 6000 years ago:
not in the manuscripts.
Christ will return and fly us up in the sky to rapture us to safety: not in the manuscripts.
We all came from Adam and Eve: not in the manuscripts.
Divorce is a sin: not in the manuscripts.
Theres a zillion of them; I'm just saying don't figure you know what God is saying by listening to people who don't know their *** from a hole in the ground, got it?
One thing that confuses me about your question is that I don't know why you say that you don't want "religion" because you don't want to be considered as a total loss for being a woman, and you don't want your father to stick his finger up inside you.
What exactly does that mean? Geez, I don't want either of those things, either.
Please respond....i think this is possibly the most confusing statement i've ever heard.
Thanks, and have a great day (hope you have springtime where you are, too!)

I see what you are talking about, CHRISTIANS have a bloodly U.S. history and even today, though the 90's clinics were being blown up, doctors & nurses died, also the judge that decided the ruling for evolution vs intelligent design in PA, recieved death threat by christians groups. Fred Phillps is another christian that goes to soldiers funerals and brings his family to protest the dead soldiers, but some states are changing the law to stop that,(which all the states should do) and this is what other christians answer with (well-there not true believers of the christian faith), and the ones that say that don't lift a finger to help, and/or to prevent it. Here is one reason, brain washed as little children, a good expamle is Jesus Camp it was just release onto DVD! check it out.

I don't hate anyone, I do however dislike some people based on my own opinion of them. You remind me of some racists who lump all people of different color into little boxes this color is lazy, this color only draws welfare and makes babies, those people are all trashy. You make an assumption about All Christians. But not all Christians are haters nor do we shove our beliefs down peoples throats. We do not condemn you to hell your choice to not accept JESUS as your SAVIOR is what condemns you to eternal separation from GOD (hell). We give information to enlighten and inform people who do not believe the same way so they have the opportunity to make an informed choice. And so they can decide their eternal future. As for me and my house we will serve the LORD.

I have no idea who you are hanging around but don't place all Christians into your predecide steroetype because you are upset with a few people. A real Christian is not trying to shove the religion down your throat. They are trying to save your soul from being damned for all of eternity!!! The next time a Christian is preaching to you or saying things that you don't agree with then why don't you try being a little nice and acknowledge that they are the ones who are being unsulted by having to deal with people as impulsive and self absorbed as you. We are doing our job by spreading the word. People don't always listen and that is alright, for now. One day you will regrey being so rude and thoughtless.......Then it will be too late. I truely hope that you are able to form some kind of relationship with God and Jesus before your time comes. God Bless You!

I think you've been hanging out with some people who are Christians in name, not spirit. Let's take your points one by one.

1) Condemning someone to Hell is clearly proscribed by Scripture. As a Christian, it is not for me to condemn anyone.

2) Many denominations value women in the pulpit. My Episcopal church is one of them. As far as the reference to your father, I have no clue what you're talking about. Are you actually saying that Christianity endorses child molestation?

3) There are many roads to God. Even the Pope has said as much. A good Christian convinces others through actions, not browbeating, and respects the religious choices of others.

So before you condemn Christians for closed-mindedness, perhaps you should open your own mind a little bit more. There are hundreds of millions in the faith who lead quiet lives that are respectful of others.

Thanks.

i assume I in simple terms locate it surprising which you're conscious that some Christians are relatively offensive, truthfully you have observed their comments on youtube and YA... and yet you nevertheless see the Christians via fact the sufferers right here? some human beings hate Christians via fact Christians have been merciless or impolite to them their total lives. maximum individuals do no longer 'hate' Christians, yet are extra suitable than keen to leap into the to and fro arguments. It is going the two procedures, how do you omit that?

I am a Christian, and I can tell you that Jesus Christ, who we count as God, does not encourage hatred toward anyone. The Bible gives believers a set of instructions meant to show us God and what He says is right and wrong. Ibelieve that the Bible is absolute truth, and I try to live my life by it because I love Jesus and that makes him happy. however, in the Bible, when asked what the most important comandment is, Jesus answered, love the lord your God, and love your neighbor as yourself. The christians you are refering to are no doubt the ones that get the most attention, but they are not the majority. We love everbody because that is what is right, even if we don't think that their lifestyle is productive or appropriate. We have all done wrong and deserve Hell, what separates the Christians is that we have been redeemed by accepting christ's free gift of eternal Salvation which is found in His word. I'm sorry you have been offended by some of my less tactful Brothers and Sisters, but please know that Christ is for everyone and, He is Love.

Your experience with Christians is certainly different than mine. You are a troubled individual, and your chronic anger will cause you more problems than you can handle. The Christians I know are so incredibly loving and giving...that I almost conclude they are of some other species -- a Heavenly one -- and not really human. Some of them believe and trust God in a way that is phenomenal; beyond anything that I could ever do myself.

Christians do not hate everyone. In fact we love everyone. I don't condemn others and hope they will do the same for me. I don't force my beliefs down others throughts. Some christians use that tactic to try to bring people to Jesus. Unfortunately they end up pushing people away. I am always willing to share the Lord with others when they ask, but I don't hate unbelievers. I won't push my beliefs on you if you don't push your beliefs on me, deal?
