Imagine you have just been bestowed the powers of a deity. You can now make this your perfect world. What kind of world is it? What are the laws? How would you go about making this world, and keeping it? Does your perfect world have one religion, many religions, or no religion?

I would go for a cosmic beer with the other gods and leave the world to sort itself out.

I could not accept those powers they belong solely to GOD. Only HE can make a perfect anything. Besides which my future is in a perfect world in the presence of my SAVIOR and I don't have to guess about it or make wishes all I had to do was to make a choice. I chose JESUS to be my SAVIOR and accepted HIM into my heart for which he forgave my sins and redeemed me and set me free.

Hey, on an episode of the original Star Treck, Capt'n Kirk had to deal with this dude who had Contracted "GOD's" disease.
He was a man who got beamed by some radiation I think, and he started to become like GOD. Could do bout' anything (not "Q").
Kirk had to chop his tree down and defeat him, but befor Kirk figured it out, he told that dude, "above ALL things, a GOD has to have mercy".
I agree, and when GOD starts handing out "Freewill" ALOT of MERCY!
Ditto.............

as long as man has free will and the forces of evil are upon the earth there will be no such thing as a perfect world.

I would never want that choice. I am human, therefore greedy, selfish and impuslive. There is absolutely no good tha would come from giving that kind of powe to a human. One more reason to be thankful that God is in control.
