Nearly all pain killers do more harm than good on the stomach and it's lining. That is why you should take all medication with food in your stomach UNLESS it is written on the bottle.
Stomach Pains can be as simple as an upset stomach or as bad as an ulcer. I know this might sound gross but how are your bowel movements -- normal, few and far between &/or a little bloody. Having blood in your bowels does not always mean an ulcer, but it can mean you might have contracted a food borne illness (do you have a high fever?), or a parasite. Also, are you experiencing any more stress in your life (not counting the stomach pains) like girlfriend is pregnant or cheating on you OR are you in school and having a hard time passing some tests?
If your pain is coming from stress just try to relax, but if it is not then go to your doctor ASAP. They would be the best to tell you what you have and schedule future tests for you.
I hope this info helps and I included the CDC's and WebMD's websites for you AND anybody else that might be interested. Take care and hope you feel better soon.

people react to stress different. Some people get physically ill when there is to much stress to handle.
Also painkillers wont help with stomach pains. Malox. peptobismal do but it depends on the cause. Could be simple gas pain to something serious that needs to be treated.
What type of pain is it? Needles. Sharp, Throbbing etc. On a scale of 1-10 10 being the most how much does it hurt? Depending on severity and type of pain I would recommend seeing a doctor.

You Muppet! Nearly all pain-killers are hard on the stomach - so you have to take them with water and food. Two days of 'really bad' stomach pains should be enough to send you to either an emergency GP appointment, or your local hospital. If that's an ulcer, or your appendix, you DON'T WANT TO WASTE ANY MORE TIME!!!
Hope you get fixed up real soon.

I'm really sorry, don't know why I thought you were a girl! Sorry. What another person said about painkillers harming your stomach is true. It might be bad heartburn due to indigestion or you could be... constipated. I'd still recommend seeing your GP. It could be something more serious.

Stress can cause a lot of health problems. However I suggest seeing a doctor instead of asking Yahoo.
