You know Islam is not as bad as the media wants you to believe?

For those of you who actually have intelligence, and they are few and far between, what did you find when you looked at all of the history unbiased? I'm not a muslim, but I have been studying it for a while and I think it's nothing like what our jew owned media says it is. I also have some sites where they speak out every day. For those who like to judge and hate like dumb azzes, open your dam minds and hearts and stop being so dam self righteous. It's only a few doing this crazy sh i t, not the other 90 something percent. Get your head out of your azz and come to terms with reality, "i art holier than thou" crowd.

Thank you, I couldn't have said it better. My husband is Muslim and I am studying Islam. I am sickened by the misconceptions so many people have about this wonderful religion. Expect a lot of hateful comments from people. There is a huge anti-Muslim crowd here. Peace.

Not Bad At All but the wonder is that despite hundreds of Universities in the West teaching and researching Islam objectively, without a bias, yet! Yet, there is so much of a misconception! Why so much Ignorance and Bias? If the Media is the villain, then what is the long term object in maligning, deliberately, a good religion whose holy Prophet was an exemplar in Piety, Honesty, and Trust-worthiness. Not scores but hundreds of trusted non Muslim scholars of repute have written well about this religion, its Prophet and ... a word more to the Ignorant that the glorious Name : ALLAH is mentioned in my Arabic Bible in the very first line, then, for thousands of times later yet! Yet, there are occasional Askers who do not know Allah as He ought to have been known. So what do they know any thing about Islam, except Ignorance and bias. Perhaps, beside the Media, some priests/preachers in other good religions are also to be blamed for spreading deliberate lies...thus offending the readers of Arabic Bible and the readers of the Holy Quran.

I don't mind talking to people who have intelligent questions or commets but it's kind of an annoyance to try to teach someone when they don't want to learn. Narrated Malik:

We came to the Prophet and we were young men nearly of equal ages and we stayed with him for twenty nights. Allah's Apostle was a very kind man and when he realized our longing for our families, he asked us about those whom we had left behind. When we informed him, he said, "Go back to your families and stay with them and teach them (religion) and order them (to do good deeds). The Prophet mentioned things some of which I remembered and some I did not. Then he said, "Pray as you have seen me praying, and when it is the time of prayer, one of you should pronounce the call (Adhan) for the prayer and the eldest of you should lead the prayer. "

Thank you. As a former Muslim myself, I met many Muslims who stand for the very best Islam is. Many of them, I met here on Y! Answers. I left Islam for personal reasons, not because of any disagreeing with the religious teachings of Islam. If God wills it, one day I may return.

people that propagate hate are bad, Islam is not bad. Propagating hate and misinformation, that is bad. but the western media's demonization if Islam has been beneficial in many regards. this demonization as sparked interest where no interest was previous. interest leads to learning and questions, which leads to converts!!! the more the media dumps on Islam, the more converts we get in the west.

For me it's only a proof of Allah' Words and the Truth. Because when someone doesn't have any arguments, in the despair he tries at least to make Islam look bad, using mass meadia, and uneducated people.
