Apostle Paul teaches in Romans 11
I say then, Has God cast away His people? God forbid.
For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
God has not cast away His people which He foreknew. Know you not what the Scripture says of Elijah? How he makes intercession to God against Israel, saying
Lord, They have killed the prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
But what said the answer of God unto him? I hae reserved to Myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
And if by grace, then is it no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
What then? Israel has not obtained that which he seeks for: but the election has obtained it, and the rest were blinded
.........
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fail? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them (Israel) to jealousy.
12 Now if the fall of them (Israel) be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them (Israel) the riches of the Gentiles, how much more their fullness (Israel)?
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou (Gentiles) being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them (Israel), and with them take of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. but if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 the branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
(Israel broken off so Gentiles can be grafted in)
10 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and you (Gentiles) stand by faith. Be not highminded, but fear.
21 For if God spared not the natural branches (Israel) take heed lest God also spare not thee (Gentiles).
THESE VERSES SOUND LIKE WE BOTH BELONG TO THAT OLIVE TREE. Only the unlearned would say one word against Israel.

Christianity started out as a Jewish sect. From what I've read, it seems to have been a fairly typical messianic cult, basically keeping Jewish law.
Then Paul showed up, and said that circumcision and keeping the Torah weren't required. (I'm simplifying here a bit). The rabbis banned anyone from joining the Christians, the Christians had more success converting gentiles than Jews, and Judiasm and Christianity split into two religions.
Nowadays Judaism has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. Christianity may indeed still be connected to Judiasm, because they consider some of our books holy.

The relationship between the people can go two ways.
1--Chr*stians and Jews both respect the opposite faith and don't try to convert (I say this more for you know who) each other, and are able to get along as friends without the pressures of religion
2--The relationships sour because of religion
People are people.
That said, the relationship between the religions is definitely strained nowadays. Judaism and Chr*stianity are totally.separate. It may have been begun by Jews, but the religion has strayed so far from the very basic theological premises of Judaism that Chr*stianity is a completely, totally separate religion. (if anyone would like to discuss this, feel free to email or IM me)
The relationship between Chr*stians and Jews can be beautiful or terrible, the relationship between Chr*stianity and Judaism is one of two totally separate faiths.

They definitely differ because Jews (except messianic Jews) have a different interpretation of the concept of Messiah, and do not believe Jesus was him.
However, Christians do worship the God of the Jews and still hold the Jewish scriptures as the Word of God. The central message of our scriptures is the same. There's a lot in common with that.

Totally separate.
Judaism is one religion that is perfect and does not need any relationship with any other religions.

I think Jewish complete themselves as a Christians . They can be both: Jewish that believe in Jesus. Jew is Jew for ever, once was born Jew, they will be always Jewish, it is not a contradiction, Jesus was Jew.
