Right here goes, i have a combi boiler upstairs at the front of the house and i want to fit a shower in the bathroom which is downstair in the extention in the back of the house, the hot tap is ok but not as powerfull as the cold. If i have the hot tap on then put the old on the pressure drops on the hot. The boiler reads 1 bar. What can i do so i can have a shower running off the boiler?
I cant have an electric shower as it would be to complicated to install and would cost a fortune

The pressure in your combi has nothing to do with the pressure or flow rate of the hot water, it is purely the pressure in the sealed system. If turning on the cold tap reduces the hot flow rate I would suggest that the mains water pressure is low or that the cold mains supply to the boiler is restricted somewhere. Make sure that your mains stopcock is fully open, and that the isolator valve on the boiler are opened fully. There must also be a considerable pressure loss between the boiler and the extension. I think you would get a sufficient flow rate to a shower (combi type) if there were no other taps in use.

You need to buy a thermostatic mixer shower to run of the combi. The cold water needs to be connected direct to the mains water supply. If the mains water supply is really low pressure then get a water pressure booster to bring it up to a decent level. Make sure you have the stop **** fully open.
