you poor thing!
it sounds like low blood pressure but it could b a few other things too...like an inner ear problem, anemia, u may need glasses, u could just b tired,or it could even b an overactive thoroid.more seriously....the black outs could b petite mal epilepsy...but its unlikely. either way you need to get a check up bcause theyr all relatively easily treated!

As you say, it might be nothing: I remember reading about how blood pressure tends to do very odd things in a teenager. And it has nothing to do with hormones either. I had the same problem at your age, and eventually outgrew it.
But if you haven't been for a check-up recently, try to get one. There are other things that can cause the dizziness that can be serious and need to be caught early. Meanwhile, try not to move too quickly. And make sure there is something solid you can grab if you do start to black out.
Good luck!

Hi there, I get dizzy spells too. But more like once every 3 months, and they are quite debilitating. However, I have had these all of my life and my mother and grandmother also get them. For me they are just part of my life and I have to live with them, so I know how annoying they can be, but if they are happening frequently as you say they are, it def needs to be checked out. It does sound like low blood pressure, but getting an MRI would rule out something more serious. Have you taken a pregnancy test??

Believe it or not this is quite common and normally just down to a drop in blood pressure when standing up to quick. You may pass out for a few seconds. I would advise you to get up slowly so as not to hurt yourself. As long as you are eating well and drinking plenty of fluids i wouldn't be to concerned. Should you develop any other symtoms then you should have a chat with your doctor to rule out other conditions.
Hope you feel better with this.

Blood pressure problems, low blood sugar, diabetes...
Your anxiety about it is probably just making it worse and your mom isn't really helping. You need the peace of mind that comes with knowing what the problem really is. The best thing is just to make that doctor's appointment and find out for sure. You'll be equipped to deal with it, then, and hopefully begin to feel better.

I started having vertigo in my 30's.
I was told that I had too much fluid on my ears. It goes away in about two weeks.
Go to a doctor and verify it is just vertigo.
Now I treat myself with Dramamine or whatever product you can take for sea sickness or motion sickness.

I would not worry too much about this. I think it tends to happen at certain times in our lives. Your blood pressure might be low (Lucky you) but this will probably correct its self.
It would be a good idea to see your GP just to put your mind at rest, it can be quite a worrying experience.
