Do any of you know how to become an aid worker in Africa? What would I need to major in? Psychology? Political science? Sociology?

I would guess Psychology and Foreign Cultures and things like diet and nutrition (which you may end up having to teach). I spent 2 1/2 years in Nigeria, West Africa with a Christian Drama Company.
Try YWAM (youth with a mission)
or the Peace Corps.

Call unicef or the Red Cross.

I'm sure you don't need to have majored in anything. There's plenty of people needed from all walks of life to help those less well off.

Two options I know about are the Peace Corps and Mary Knoll. I can not tell you what areas of knowledge are most needed but those are two organizations i know about that do that sort of thing.

Major in!? All you need is to have a pulse and be breathing! What they need out there are people willing to work their tails off and oh yeah, to die at the drop of a hat!
