When I was a little girl my first idea of Hell was that it was a lot like day care: kind of fun at first, but after a while you realize that your not going to get away and no one is coming for you.

Yours is a great analogy. My first thought of Hell was someplace hot, like the tropics in the summer, but less humidity. I always imagined having to work for hours and hours and hours with no rest, or food or water.

Now I imagine that Hell is pure chaos and eternal separation from God.

May God bless and keep you.

George Carlin said it like this: Hell is like setting a 100 Christmas trees on fire and jumping right in the middle.

severe clinical depression - body eating itself, child abuse by meth addict parents, extremely rare stage V painful crusted acne over 80 % of my face I've been to hell and back, the contemporary mythological hell does not exist.

It's pathetic how people still follow a deity who in their religion throws people in hell for choosing another religion. Though obviously mythological, I'd go to hell before I'd follow a deity like that...

Hell is a bottomless pit with pure darkness. so imagine yourself free falling for eternity. have you ever been in pure darkness? where you can see your hand in front of your face? thats how its going to be in hell and you better believe it. Hell is a place where God isnt. so think everything that represents God. Its not in Hell. so if you havent asked Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior then do it before you have to stay in hell forever!!

Eternal separation from God, excruciating torment, extremely hot beyond imagination and forever dark. Not a place that I want to be!

Wow. That actually makes sense. I always hated daycare. I would also add that you would never be able to go to the bathroom. Ever.
