When you are alone at someone else's house do you snoop and look in places you shouldn't? Do you look in the dresser, closets, bathroom drawers? Why do we do this? Are we hoping to find a deep dark secret about them?

LOL, some of you are saying no you don't do this. Okay, but even as a teenager you didn't? You that claim no are liars in my opinion. You can't say you never opened your parents stuff up, or another relatives, or a friends. Hand me the line of B.S. if you want but the man upstairs knows and at least I'm honest about it.

The main factor is trust no one trusts anyone fully.. therefore people snoop around other peoples things to see if theres anyhing they should be curious of.. thats why we all do it... curiosity and trust

I think less people do this than you think. I have been in thousands of homes and never snooped once. In fact one time I went to the bathroom and ran out of tissue paper. I looked in the cabinet to see if that's where it was stored and I felt dirty doing that. Closed doors and drawers are private and should never be opened unless permission is granted. We all have the same stuff in them so I don't see where someone would be curious.

I don't think that everyone does this... I surely don't, it's none of my business... How would you explain it if you got caught? That said, I agree that a lot of people do this, but at the risk of sounding like a chauvinist, I suspect there are more women that do this than men.... That being the case, I would say they have some trust issues, and are checking to make sure that there mate, does not have any skeletons in the closet....

I suppose we are searching for something that is bad or worse in their lives than it is in our own. I don't do this though - not to the extent of going through drawers. I'll casually snoop through what might be laying about, but that's it.

No, I feel a little uneasy even looking too closely at open stuff like the bookcase and displayed knickknacks. I'd never open doors or drawers.

I don't open anything to snoop. If something is laying out in the open though, I may take a peek.

no, I'd would freak out if I got busted, yes, I guess it's tempting sometimes. I did date a guy who spent the night on my couch and I heard him open my drawer in my living room, it totally turned me off, never went out with him again!

Ive only done it at my grandmother's house as a kid, and then a distant cousin's house when he lived with a girlfriend...I found some pretty disturbing items in his nightstand and I never did it again.....

I must be odd. I don't do that. I don't have any desire to see what other people have in their drawers, etc. I know many people do this however.
